THE PORT OF TILBURY
IS EXPANDING
The Port of Tilbury is already one of the UK’s largest ports, but it’s not stopping there. The port is planning to expand by 400 acres – with the majority of the new land in the tax site – that will be home to a variety of businesses.
The tax site is adjacent to the existing Port of Tilbury and Tilbury2 estates and will be directly linked to the Lower Thames Crossing and the rail network. This means businesses on the tax site will have excellent access to the strategic road and rail networks, making it a great location for logistics and manufacturing businesses.
The tax site is also undeveloped brownfield/greenfield land, which means that it
is a great opportunity for businesses to build new facilities. The site is also well-suited for various usages, including manufacturing, distribution and warehousing.
With its excellent connectivity, its proximity to major infrastructure projects, and its undeveloped land, the Port of Tilbury is a great opportunity for businesses to grow and succeed.
